What "sale" and "sharing" mean

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws, a "sale" means disclosing personal information to a third party for money or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning ads targeted to you based on your activity across different websites.

What we share and with whom

We do not sell personal information for money. The only disclosure that may be considered "sharing" happens through advertising and analytics cookies on our site:

We do not share your name, email address, postal address or payment information for advertising purposes.

Service providers

We also work with service providers that process information only to run our store on our behalf, such as PayPal for payments, DigitalOcean Spaces for file storage, OpenAI for on-site search, Telegram for staff order notifications, our email (SMTP) provider and shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL). These disclosures are not considered a sale or sharing.

How to opt out

You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information in either of these ways:

You do not need an account, and we will not ask you to verify your identity for an opt-out request. We will only deny an opt-out request if we have a good-faith, documented reason to believe it is fraudulent, and if we do, we will tell you why.

When your opt-out takes effect

We process opt-out requests within 15 business days of receiving them. We will also notify the third parties that received your personal information through sharing of your opt-out.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for written, signed permission from you showing that they are authorized to act for you.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Our site does not currently detect or respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. To opt out, please email us or use the form on this page.

After you opt out

Once you opt out, we will not ask you to opt back in to the sale or sharing of your personal information for at least 12 months.

Consumers under 16

We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without prior consent. Consumers aged 13 to 15 must opt in themselves, and children under 13 need consent from a parent or guardian. Our site is not directed to children.

Sensitive personal information

We do not collect sensitive personal information, so a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link is not required.

Your other privacy rights

You may also ask to know, access, delete or correct your personal information. We respond to these requests within 45 days, and may extend that by another 45 days when needed, with notice to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Appeals

If we deny your request, you can appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within 60 days. If you disagree with our decision, you may contact the Attorney General of your state.

Non-discrimination

We will not deny you goods, charge you different prices or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of your privacy rights.
